 | | | Stun Guns are electrical self-defense weapons that use high voltage but low amperage to stop an attacker. Touching a person with the prongs of the stun gun quickly immobilizes the attacker. However, because stun guns have very low amperage, no serious or permanent injury is inflicted.
Generally, the higher the voltage, the quicker the full effect of the stun gun takes place. The lower voltage model stun guns are still effective but they might take one or two seconds longer to have the full effect on your attacker. Should the attacker be touching you, the current from the stun gun will NOT pass to your body! |
