Redial
The redial function gives you instant access to the details of the latest 24 numbers that you have dialled. Telephones are used a lot more than other electronic equipment and sometimes under tougher and more hazardous conditions. B&O telephones are exposed to extremes of heat and cold, they have coffee spilled over them, dust blown at them, they're stepped upon and subjected to a whole series of bumps, vibrations and falls. And it's not only the unexpected that's tested for; a robot assesses daily wear and tear by methodically lifting and replacing the handset of a telephone 100000 times, while a mechanical finger dials telephone numbers over and over again. In a space of days, the life of a telephone and everything the modern world may throw at it is simulated many times over!
Loudspeaker Quality
'Earphone coupling loss factor', 'receiver loudness rating value' and 'acoustic leakage' are technical terms that mean little to most telephone users. Some telephone calls, and telephone callers are more welcome than others. However, BeoTalk 1200 now makes it possible for you to tell them apart even before you pick up the telephone.

Features
While all the daily functions of BeoTalk 1200 are carried out using the three buttons on the front panel, it's also possible to listen to incoming messages and to change your answers remotely via any push-button telephone. BeoTalk 1200's allows you to establish a Voice Announcement Phonebook that links up to 50 spoken names to telephone numbers. If one of the selected numbers calls, BeoTalk 1200 announces the caller's name, letting you know if the call is for you. Now you can decide whether you want to answer it or not.
With BeoTalk 1200, you can also record an announcement that simply states you're not available, another inviting callers to leave a message, or even select a group of up to 30 special callers that will receive a more detailed answer.
The Caller ID function allows you to see the time and date of the latest 50 incoming calls regardless of whether they left a message or not, and will also state the caller's name if it's stored in the Voice Announcement Phonebook. If your telephone does not have its own display, you can see the number you dialled in the display of BeoTalk 1200.
