Bob Hope Vietnam Years 1964 - 1972

Join Bob and his cast of characters as they entertain the troops during the Vietnam years:
The Legend of Bob Hope entertaining America's GIs started in may of 1941 when the country was at peace. When World War II broke, Bob Hope, with a band of "Hollywood Gypsies," took off for Europe, North Africa, and the South Pacific-where ever our our men and women in uniform were training or fighting. The tradition of spending Christmas with the troops began in 1948 when Bob, with his wife Delores, flew to Europe to entertain Americans involved with the Berlin airlift, and continued to entertain them through each Christmas through Desert Storm in 1990.
