COMMENTS: Picture does no justice for this phenomenal gem. Vivid fire and color return.
WOW! Here is a very truly impressive rich sea blue (teal blue) zircon mined from Ohngaing (Ohn Gaing or Ohn Kai) at the renown Mogok Stone Tract Mines in the Sagaing District of the Mandalay Division, Burma (Myanmar). This near flawless zircon has an impressive color return! ((Zircon like Spinel is a stone which is highly underrated! Like corundum(ruby & sapphire), they come in a myriad of colors with a stunning flash & sparkle (one reason they are used to substitute diamonds), and are mined in smaller quantities. Zircon is most famous for its colorless stones, which closely resemble diamonds and have been used both intentionally and mistakenly as such. Most gem-quality zircon are usually found as pebbles in alluvial deposits. Its adamantine luster, strong birefraction, hardness, and vast color range make zircon an attractive stone when set in a ring or pendant.)) It is a near flawless gem with no eye-visible inclusions upon close inspection, with an exceptional face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal. This would make an excellent gift to that someone special, or an addition to a collection. Excellent size for a ring or a pendant!
Happy shopping! We are not new in the gem trade or auctioneering. We offer all natural gemstones, gem carvings, & facet/cab/specimen grade gem rough, with full disclosure of any enhancements known. We also offer excellent service in all aspects, secure packaging, and fast shipping. You will not be disappointed with this very fine gem!! Please realize that colors can slightly differ from monitor to monitor or with change of lighting (natural, fluorescent, full spectrum, or incandescent).
