 | ***UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS TWO PIECES OF EXCEPTIONAL FULGURITE SPECIMENS, APPROX. 2g***
Here is a very exceptional Fulgurite specimen from the Sahara Desert Region of Morocco. Fulgurites is lightning fused sand that happens when lightning strikes sand. The lightning strike fuses the sand into glass in the pattern of it's strike as it grounds. Often long and tubular from the main lightning strike, and very light weight material. Perfect specimens have long branch, or "root-like" structures on its sides where the last tendrils of the electicity grounded off. These are obviously quite rare and very fragile, and totally unsuitable for a metaphysical pendant. One of them is a shorter tube type while the other is a partial tube type that broke away after the strike. They do have a very exceptional face up appearance and a super gemmy eye appeal!
Spiritual and Healing Folk Lore:
Fulgurites are thought to be high energy formations due to the nature of their birth. Being a direct representation of the point of grounding of one of the most powerful forces in nature, they have been particularly noted for their ability to channel and direct energy. Fulgurites have also been used to communicate with aliens and dimensional entities, or ascended beings in the spirit world. They are often used for clairaudience. Fulgurites are also used to enhance communication in the physical world, and have been used as stones of leadership. They've also been used by Native Americans to bring rain (cloud-busting), and as charms for protection from lightning. Weather-changing of any sort is not recommended, however, unless, as with the Native Americans, you have an exceptionally good sense of the balance of Nature. Healing lore says that Fulgurites are used in crystal healing and folklore in treatment of the immune system, ear, nose, and throat ailments, sight, thymus, tumors, growths, and colon.
