Here indeed is an impressive sunstone with a fiery orange-peach schiller sunstone where the gem rough was acquired from Mamandur in the Kanchipuram District of Tamil Nadu, India. The finest sunstone from India that I have seen comes from Tamil Nadu, India. I have not seen such impressive & fiery orange schiller as this material displays. We are talking very fine orange schiller sunstone gem here, with a remarkable face up appearance and very gemmy eye appeal. This gem would make an excellent gift mounted in a jewelry piece for that someone special! Sunstone of this fine orange schiller runs no less than $10 per/ct for over 10 carats, around $145.
