Please only contact the seller if you are interested in buying or bartering for this item. Spam and fraud will not be tolerated.
VIDEO to DVD or digital file (MP4, etc.):
- VHS, VHS-C, or S-VHS (PAL/SECAM/NTSC)
- Video8, Hi8, or Digital8 (PAL / NTSC)
- miniDV (PAL / NTSC)
- Betamax (NTSC)
Prices to transfer video tapes:
- 1 hour (or less) — $7.50
- 1 hour (or less) of Betamax, Super-VHS (S-VHS), or PAL/SECAM — $10
plus $2 for each DVD if you are willing to have your video on discs.
Minimum order is $20.

You pay for the length of the video, however, each tape counts as its own amount, and is recorded to its own DVD or saved to a separate file. It means, for example, that four 15-minute tapes will cost 4 x $7.50 + 4 x $2 = $38, and they will be burned on 4 DVDs or saved as 4 files. However, one 2-hour tape will cost 2 x $7.50 + $2 = $17.

If you are going to proceed with mp4 files, please bring your USB-stick or external hard-drive. The size of USB-stick depends on the amount of recorded hours on your tapes. One hour of video takes about 3GB. If you don't have one, I have some flash-drives for sale for a reasonable price.

In most cases I could fix broken VHS, please bring it too.

You could drop your materials any working day after 6 PM or weekends after 11 AM. Please call me at 204-995-0306 before coming to be sure I'm at home.
My address is 535 Sly Drive (West Kildonan area, close to Leila, McGregor, Salter, and Templeton).
