HOW DOES IT WORK?
WINTER / HEATING:
A ground-source heat pump uses the earth’s natural heat in the winter.
The heat is absorbed into an antifreeze liquid inside the geothermal pipes,
than carried up through the pipes brought up to the house by the heat pump,
and transferred to warm indoor air.
SUMMER / COOLING:
In the summer the ground-source heat pump also uses the earth,
but instead as an area for the disposal of the heat accumulated in the house.
To do this, the heat pump process is reversed:
the heat is extracted from indoor air and is transferred to the earth through the antifreeze liquid.

* The system will change automatically from heating to cooling and vise versa,
keeping your home at your desired temperature without you ever having to change it.
** A geothermal system can be configured to individual temperature settings in each room of the house,
keeping everyone at their own comfort zone.
(ex: your daughters room can be set at a complete different temperature than the master bedroom) (optional)
*** You will see a 20% increase in your electricity bill to run the heat pump,
but a geothermal system allows you to cut off your gas bill completely.
