The package contains: Oregon Scientific Thermometer, 2 RMR166's and 1 EMR812 Thermometer Display units, THN138, THR138 Thermo Sensors and Instruction Manual. I guarantee 1 of the RMR166, EMR812 and the THN138, those were all up and running on January 07, 2017. The other RMR166, the bottom feet are gone so it would need to mounted on the wall or you would need to be creative to have it stand on it's own. The THR138 was not needed so has just been sitting in a drawer. Both of these were working fine when taken off line so I'm 95% sure they will be just fine, they are basically a throw in.

The ONLY reason why I'm not using this any more is because the wet tempeture probe (not listed in this package) went south. I figured I'd just get another one . . . Nope, they don't make it anymore. Unfortunately for me that is one of the major reasons for this system. Indoor temp for each display unit is shown along with one of the 3 possible external channels. You can cycle through the channels, I had one of the Thermo Sensors outside for the outside temperature and then I had the wet probe in the pool during the summer and in the spa in the winter. Of the 2 sensors the pool/spa temperature was the most important for me so I had to go to a different brand.

This system works great. Temperature both inside and out are accurate, the external probes show up on all the display units, the indoor temp is unique to where that display is located. One thing that I'm missing is the RMR166 displays has time via Atomic Clock (WWV time receiver) the replacement that I bought only displays the temperature. Atomic Clocks tend to be accurate.

Here's some Corporate BS on it:

Air apparent. Know the temperature in all the climate-reliant locations around your home. From the baby's room to outside on the patio, this Oregon Scientific Cable Free Thermometer gives you accurate readings in up to three separate locations--in addition to the indoor temperature where the base unit is located. It even has an ExactSet atomic clock with a dual daily alarm. The clock sets itself using radio waves from the US Atomic Clock and is accurate enough to meet OATS stock-trading standards. Everything in the system is totally cable free, so you never have to string a wire! It also features a three-line LCD screen and a low battery indicator on the main display unit. Includes main unit and one remote sensor. Requires 2 AA batteries.
