Here is an awesome SOLID rarer crinoids jasper turtle gem carving, where the gem rough was mined from the Ruvuma Region of southern Tanzania. This rarer jasper turtle gem carving has an excellent face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal. When we say rarer, we mean as for the availability of this material, lone enough any type jasper from this area. I have had this in my collection for quite a few years. That said, I am offering this awesome solid jasper turtle gem carving for a great price for a short time. Would make an exceptional shelf piece to show off. **This is not a manufactured or molded gem carving, this is a solid natural gem aquamarine carving that has not been enhanced in any manner**
Just a bit of info on Crinoids Jasper. Crinoids, also known as sea lilies or feather-stars, are marine animals that are still found in our seas & oceans today, but have been around for over 500 million years! They live both in shallow water & in depths as great as 6,000 meters.
This particular fossil specimen is packed full of these amazing fossils, a real slice of history in your hand.
