The stone is exceedingly clean, 100% transparent, with no color banding. It was cut with a fancy checkered diamond cut, loaded with facets, with no blemishes, and has a beautiful polish on it. The color is the finest money can buy --- deep, rich purple with red and blue undertones as orientated!
Here is a natural phenomenal top end Zambian royal purple(siberian) amethyst mined from the northeast trending belt in the Mwakambiko hills of the Mapatizya area of Zambia. We are talking World Class gem here! This gem has that world class royal purple (siberian) color and near flawless clarity, remarkable luster and a well executed cut, with red & blue flashes as orientated. The Zambia royal amethyst is by far one of the highest quality of amethyst in the market these days and is getting more difficult to acquire these days due to very low to no production, infact it can be difficult to also acquire good amethyst from the few places known for good quality deep purple amethyst like Bolivia, Uruguay & Russia, but all in all Africa does have the richest and deepest purple on the market that I have seen alongside the very fine Uruguayan siberian amethyst. Superior face up and spectacular eye appeal! This gem would make an excellent pendant and even be set in a ring for that someone special, but it is a great collectors gem for the serious collecters out their! This material runs GUARANTEED NO LESS THAN $50 per carat for this color, cut, clarity, and carat weight from a jeweler, gem shopping network, or a gem trade show guaranteed.
