This device measures 12"w x 6 1/2"d x 3"h Weight 6 lbs
Some of you may recall the time before 7.1, 6.1, 5.1 etc.,audio/video control centers.
This device was one of the first consumer surround sound decoders. It is in excellent working condition.
In order for it to operate properly and get the most from the sound track you are listening to, you should have a HI-FI Stereo VCR which interprets the signals to the back speakers.
Also works with DVD players. It also hooks up directly to a stereo TV and/or a regular amplifier.
Some Original Motion Picture Soundtrack albums (LP records)
have sound effects encoded in them. This device allows the sound effects to play in the rear speakers!!
