Here is a top end & highly prized faceted natural apple green premium chrysoprase or also known as imperial chrysoprase mined from the Marlborough district, in the Rockhampton Region of Queensland, Australia. ((The Marlborough chrysoprase mining is by far the largest in Australia and the chrysoprase material mined their is generally of superior top deep green to apple green color along with the material from the recently re-opened Yerilla Chrysoprase mines.)) This material is most commonly cut en cabochon for jewelry and also excellent for carvings & varies cameo's, along with ornamental objects, but is rarely to almost never faceted as this beauty is. Chrysoprase is one of the most valuable of the chalcedony species (microcrystalline quartz's). This top end gem has a top apple green color with an excellent face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal. A well executed cut!
