Agency seeking Full Time and Part Time Support Staff to work w/persons who have developmental disabilities in their own homes in the community setting of the Wentzville area. Shifts Available: Mornings (CNA) (7a-11:30a) Evenings (DCS) (3-11p), Overnights (DCS) (11p-7a), and weekends.
Job Duties: Assisting individuals w/dd in their home and community. Teaching/assisting them w/household chores, personal care needs, administering medications, menu planning, budgeting, shopping, assisting them to medical appointments and other appointments as needed, and participating in hobbies/interests such as yard sales, going to parks, shopping, community events, bowling, volunteer jobs, etc.
Skills: Dependable, caring, energetic, and MUST be a people person. Must have acceptable documentation abilities to document goings on w/in the home. Hands on Training provided.
REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to pass background checks and drug tests, have GED/H.S. Diploma, dependable vehicle and current car insurance. We will train in CPR/1st Aid, Level I Med Aide, Mandt (de-escalation techniques).
We are also looking for CNA's available to work around the Wentzville area. Must be current in certifications.
