| We are currently fostering 6 new kittens! We've got a mixed litter with 5 males and 1 female. They're a combo of 8 and 9 weeks old, and they're all ready to find a new forever home.
They've been given their first vaccination, deworming and flea/tick treatment, had a thorough vet check and a spay/neuter when they're of age, all included in our adoption package. We'll also start new adoptive parents off on the right foot with a new kitten kit with some toys, food, and basic care items.
Without further hesitation, please read below to find some short bio's on each of our little ones.
Ozzie (DMH/DSH Diluted Orange Male)
Ozzie is one charming little deviant. He is a beautiful diluted orange and white, and will end up somewhere between a short and medium hair length. For the most part, he seems to be a short hair with some feathering in through the legs, tail and face. He's good looking, and he knows it. People are his world, he absolutely adores them. He is quite content to spend his time trucking around behind whoever happens to be nearby, and is quite eager to be held as well -- you'll know because as soon as he's in your hands he purrs so loud it sounds like a Nascar revving it's engines. That being said, he will need a home that can give him lots of attention and one-on-one time, or he can get a little out of hand when he's bored. It's nothing too extreme, and it's hard to monitor him fully in this fostering environment, but he gets talkative if left alone and sometimes will tip his water. We think he will make a perfect companion cat for someone who can enjoy his quirkiness and loving nature, he will bring a lot of laughs and a lot of good memories for whoever is up for it.
Luxe (DSH Black Male)
Luxe was given his name because of his beautiful, silky black coat and his stately manner. We often find him lounging, untroubled, on the highest perch of his scratching post, overseeing his siblings. On arrival, Luxe proved to be a lot bolder than the rest of his siblings, preferring to be the casual observer rather than the timid dormouse. He loves to be stroked while he rests comfortably on his perch, and is a huge sucker for a chin scratch. We think Luxe would do well in most environments as he seems able to adapt easily, and his calm demeanor will definitely make him a great companion.
Ohso (DSH Tabby Male)
Ohso came to us in this litter incredibly timid. He would shake and tremble when anyone opened the door, and due to the stress and his small size we're not particularly surprised. However, he is really coming into his own. He is a huge explorer when he's feeling comfortable and can jump incredible height for his small size. We've even been able to get a purr or two out of him when he's up for a cuddle. We're quite sure that as he gets more familiar with his surroundings that he will really start to open up and be the incredible boy we know that he is. He would really thrive in a quiet, indoor home with the right person to help him open up.
Axel(DSH Black Male)
Axel has quite a demure attitude, which is why we gave him the name Axel -- we figured he could use a tough name to help him along. He's been with us for a couple days now and definitely seems to be warming up. He will do excellent in a home where his people can spend some time with him and really get him used to interacting with people. We know he is going to be a great cat, he just needs a little bit of time and a whole lot of love.
Monroe (DMH Tabby Female)
Monroe is a total sweetheart and beautiful too! She's got the typical tabby colouring and markings, but is longer haired and has a fair bit of feathering on her legs, face and tail, including two longer wisps of white hair extending from both ears. She loves to cuddle and be held and will purr consistently throughout. She is the only female in this litter, and definitely the star of the show.
Kennedy (DSH Tabby Male)
Kennedy is one handsome little guy. He is a shorter haired cat, with typical tabby colouring and the markings of a British Shorthair. He's also an excellent competitor when it comes to hide and seek. He's an active little boy with lots to do and not nearly enough time to do it all. He will do well with someone who's willing to spend some time with him and indulge him with lots of play to bring out the fierce little lion in him.
If you or anyone you know is looking to adopt a lifelong companion, please don't hesitate to send an email our way. |
