The Lifecycle 9500hru trainer features the following programs in this new style: Hill, Random, Manual and Fit Test- each with thirteen intensity levels.

This exercise machine also has a key feature of pedal resistance in the Manual program which can now be programmed directly in Watts and METs, the standards used by medical and rehab professionals.
The new Fat Burn program of the Lifecycle 9500hru trainer maintains a user's heart rate at 65% of thier theoretical maximum, the most effective zone for burning fat and loosing weight without burning fatand the Cardio program sets a higher target heart rate: 80% of the user's theoretical maximum, the most effective zone for cardiovascular training.
