FIRST OF ALL, NATURAL RUBY-ZOISITE OR OTHERWISE CALLED ANYOLITE BY THE LOCAL MASAI IN TANZANIA, AFRICA, IS A COMBINATION OF GREEN ZOISITE (MINERAL SPECIES WHERE TANZANITE DERIVES FROM) AND RED CORUNDUM (RUBY) WHICH MAKES SUCH BEAUTIFUL & PHENOMENAL CARVINGS!
Here is a spectacular natural solid "untreated" ruby-zoisite cute rabbit carving mined from the Longido mines in Northeast Tanzania, near Mount Kilimanjaro where the Tanzanite mines are. The Longido mines are renown for their top color ruby-zoisite & longido ruby's. **THIS MATERIAL WAS ACQUIRED IN 2004 AT THE LONGIDO MINES IN NORTHEAST TANZANIA AND CUT IN INGRA, TANZANIA BY MY CLOSE FRIEND WHO LIVES THEIR.** We are talking a absolutely gorgeous & cute top gem carving here my fellow members! Remarkable luster, exceptional polish, and an excellent face up and eye appeal! This gem carving is not one of those molded carvings sold all over eBay (FeeBay), but a solid natural ruby-zoisite carving, absolutely guaranteed!
