2003 United States $2 Circulated Banknotes
The $2 note was discontinued in 1966, but, reintroduced in 1976 as part of the Bicentennial celebrations. Today, it is rarely seen in circulation and as a result, the note is the lowest of U.S. paper money being produced. Less than 1% of all U.S. banknotes printed to this day are $2 bills. Only a small number of the $2 notes find their way into Canada for commerce.
Obverse: President Thomas Jefferson
Reverse: “The Declaration of Independence”
Painting by John Trumbull
Signatures: Anna Cabral - John Snow
Selling Price: Open to offers
These $2 U.S. banknotes are circulated but would be great to start off a banknote collection. Some of the notes may have folds, bent corners, pin holes but none are rip or have tape on them. |
