Classified Details
Maxwell, un-neutered male approx. 15 months old. Rescued and rehabilitated since 01/08. Pet friendly, child and visitor friendly. Basic training, house broken and create trained. Unsure of exact age due to the fact that he was rescued by our family in 01/08, he was battered, abused and starved. He has put on a lot of weight, physical wounds have healed and we are still working on the emotional scars. Maxwell, has taken to basic training easily, he is completely house broken and create trained. Maxwell, would be better in a home with a female companion with a fenced in yard. He would also do well with a family with children, although he does not take well to anyone forcefully pulling at his collar or harness. He is fine with it in a playing manor but not when the person is showing signs of ignorance. I think that this attitude scares him and he shows signs of protecting himself. We have two children who Maxwell is fine with. He is always playful with our 4yr old. and with our 10yr old. We also have two other dogs who he gets along with well. The only confrontations we have had have been with my male over our female. They both try to claim her as their own. Normal dog stuff, but nothing too serious.
