Soulard Art Market to host The Sketchbook Project No. 4 in April 16, 17 and 18, 2010

The Sketchbook Project 4
The time has come! Sign ups for The Sketchbook Project 4 have begun! This time we are going in a whole new direction. The idea behind this year's project is to create a Sketchbook Library. Be one of the founding contributors to The Sketchbook Library by signing up to receive a sketchbook, filling it up with art, and sending it back. Your sketchbook will be among thousands of others that are made by artists from all over the world. Visitors will receive library cards and be able to view the books at exhibitions around the country. The goal of the project is to create a giant collective of sketchbooks from around the globe and make it accessible to everyone.

Help us build a library of sketchbooks by creating your own and donating it to a collection that will tour galleries across the country.

Right now we already have a show booked in Atlanta and Los Angeles. We will be adding more shows in the next few weeks! The tour will run through 2010 until the books go to there final resting place in The Art House Library, opening in spring 2010.

We are so excited about this project. We are always amazed by the quality of work we get and the enthusiasm of all the participants. We thank you for being a part of our projects and exhibitions. Look out for The Art House Library opening in spring 2010! Sign up now!!
