Selling a mint condition half inch Fostex E16 reel to reel player.

This machine was bought from a reliable studio outside of Hamilton two years ago and was well maintained by the owner-a very serious engineer. He recorded the likes of shania twain on this thing so he spared no expense to maintain it's condition.

When I purchased it the only warn part was understandably-the head. I used the machine about a dozen times before I decided to let it go. I just don't have the time to record anymore.

Recently I have had the head replaced with an absolutely brand new head as well as a full servicing of all electronic and mechanical parts. The only thing I did not replace was the pinch roller. Only because It was cleaned so often it still has lots of life in it. All work was done at Teletech, which is a very wonderful shop.

Tape is very available for this machine, you can order it from Teletech or go there and pick some up.

The machine is a half inch machine with 16 ins and outs. It comes with a snake and remote control.

With what I paid for the machine plus the replacement head, I've put about 2grand into it. As of right now it's totally ready go!

The price tag is $900.00 which I believe is quite fair considering there's nothing that it needs except some songs to record ;)

The E16 is a very warm sounding machine and records with great presence. Anybody who loves the sound of tape will not be disappointed.

16 channel snake(Rca out Quater inch in)
Remote control and connecter cable
1 take up reel
Cleaner for the pinch rollers
