My Research indicates Susan Southby painted these in the late 1940s and only 250 prints were published in 1953 with an English title & description in the lower left hand corner, as this print has, My research also indicates that very few of these prints are available today because of wars & conflicts in the area.
In fact, Safsaf was destroyed in the 1948 Israeli-Arab War.
These Prints by Susan Southby, the market has been thin, but recently I sold 2 prints and I noticed a complete folio book was sold, all at higher prices then previous sales.
