My family was in the recorder on January.3 our apartment ceiling fell in due to the owner Juan Castillo negligence to fix the leaky roof. It all started in November and Ive asked the city for help to come look at the place and they just wont. On December 23 the fire dept. came out because the whole apartment was leaking and the kitchen had fallen everywhere, Ive been homeless since then. 4 days ago i went to get some of my children's belonging to find the owner in my apartment and all my belongings gone. He wont tell me where my stuff is, and told me i have to pay to get whats left, and worst of all i found alot of my stuff and my kids stuff in the trash can in the alley. I called Porterville pd and they told me that they couldn't do and thing for me.... that's heart breaking to see if you do have tons of money you get away with everything which Juan Castillo has so far. Todays my last day at the hotel Ive used up all my nights from the homeless program and Ive used almost all my income to pay for food and my room. I need help if and one knows where i can go, or if anyone would be able to help me and my kids with temporary housing. Thank you for your time and god bless.
