| Exceptional patience, reasonable rates, no contracts.
INTRODUCTORY OFFER: Mention where you saw this ad and get 20% off your first session.
I am a full-time, professional tutor with more than ten years experience tutoring math, from elementary school to college level. Calculus is my specialty, but I can and have tutored all lower levels. I have also tutored special-needs students, including autistic students and a blind student.
I am a UIC graduate with a Master's degree in Pure Mathematics. I am improving my skills in chemistry and physics, too, to be better able to assist my students.
I offer a satisfaction guarantee: if, after the first hour, you feel I haven't helped you, you owe me nothing. I do this because not every tutor is right for every student, and you shouldn't have to pay to find that out. For what it's worth, no one has ever taken me up on it.
My rate is $50/hour. If you need additional time in any session, that additional time is $30/hour, since I have no extra travel time. And there are no contracts to sign: you decide when to begin tutoring, and you decide when to end it. The only consideration is your need.
SPECIAL SUMMER RATE: From June 15th to August 31st, the summer rate is $40 per hour, one hour minimum, no maximum.
I usually meet students in their homes, but if you prefer we can meet at a convenient coffee shop or library.
Come and let me show you how much fun math (especially calculus!) can be. :-)
