Position: Housekeeping Aide/Laundry Aide - Nursing Home Stayner
Hours and location: Part Time and Casual shifts available
Must be available all days of the week including weekends and holidays
$12.00 per hour to start

Duties:
Sweep, mop and wash floors; Wax and polish floors; Dust furniture; Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; Clean, disinfect fixtures and appliances; Disinfect public rooms and other areas; Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; Clean and disinfect elevators; Handle and report lost and found items; Pick up debris and empty trash containers; Wash windows, walls and ceilings.Laundry - assemble and bag finished articles.

Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment; Repetitive tasks; Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking; Standing for extended periods; Bending, crouching, kneeling. Housekeeping and/or commercial laundry experience an asset.
