COMMENTS: An absolutely impressive gemstone.
Here is a truly magnificent & rare top end plagioclase feldspar mined from Magara, Lake Manyara in the Arusha Region of Tanzania. This plagiclase is in the albite-anorthite series of the feldspar group. It is a transparent colorless gem that displays a moderate blue adularescence as the stone is orientated. Similar to moonstone but without the white opalescence. This gem has a very exceptional face up appearance & a very gemmy eye appeal. A very nice gem that would look great mounted in a piece of jewelry. You can just see the blue adularescence in the pictures.
