This is a new O2 Oxygen Sensor extender. It has 18mm threads and is used to space the Oxygen Sensor out of the exhaust manifold or exhaust pipe to make it less sensitive to oxygen rich exhaust gases. This device helps to lean the vehicle's fuel mixture slightly to increase fuel economy when used with an HHO system. Without these your car's computer will since the engine is running too lean (too much oxygen in exhaust gases). This is caused by the oxygen rich exhaust gases caused by the exhausted HHO gas. The car's ECM (electronic control module) will send a signal to the fuel injectors to increase their pulse causing the car to use more gasoline than required. These extenders alone without HHO system will actually increase your fuel economy slightly. The Water4gas manual recommends installing these when running HHO cells to get the full benefits of hydrogen cell use.

To install this device you simply unscrew the O2 sensor out of the exhaust system, install the extender, then screw the o2 sensor into the extender. That's it, no other adjustments are necessary.

Check your particular cars o2 location and number of o2 sensors. Some cars have two o2 sensors so you will need two extenders. Many Ford cars have four o2 sensors. You can find out how many your car has and their location on your particular vehicle from your local mechanic or auto repair shop, or car dealer.
