WOW! Here is a very gorgeous blue Montana sapphire mined at Rock Creek, also known as "Gem Mountain" over 50 years ago, roughly 80 miles west-southwest of Helena. Production of this material at this mountain came to a halt in 1943 due to not being able to compete with the new cheaper synthetic production of sapphires in the market. This gem display a nice blue color that will dazzle you with it's beauty many times over, a beautiful gem indeed! ((THIS GEMSTONE WAS PICKED FOR ITS SIZE, BEAUTIFUL COLOR AND CLARITY. THERE ARE NO CRACKS SURFACE FLAWS OR POT MARKS.)) Remarkable gems from this region! This gem is absolutely more beautiful in person and has an excellent face up & spectacular eye appeal! This would make an excellent gift to that someone special, or an addition to a collection.
