WOW! Here is a very gorgeous top pink color Tunduru sapphire where the gem rough was mined from the gem river beds near Tunduru in the Ruvuma Region of Southern Tanzania. It has a natural "untreated" spectacular vivid pink color with an exceptional face up appearance and a very gemmy eye appeal that will dazzle you with it's natural beauty many times over, a rare gem indeed! ((Probably one of the greatest gem discoveries of the last 50 years has been the areas of Tunduru and Songea of the Ruvuma Region of Southern Tanzania, Africa. The foremost exciting gem to come out from this region is the sapphire. Bright fancy colors of purple, blue, pinks, some yellows & oranges! This material is just incredible and because this material is so incredible, the government of Tanzania is trying to control all mining in the area.)) Remarkable gems! This gem is much more beautiful in person and harder to acquire them in this natural untreated color! This would make an excellent gift to that someone special, or an addition to a collection.
