 | Texas Ebony pen blanks
I've recently cut some nice pen turning blanks from Texas Ebony wood. I also have a few small turning blocks (5 to 7 pounds). The first photo shows pen blanks, the second shows a bowl blank, and the third shows one of my own turnings from this Texas Ebony wood.
Texas Ebony is a rare and exotic, elegantly-grained wood. Texas Ebony is particularly well-suited for turning in forms that range from pens and delicate icicles on ornaments, up to large bowls. The grain of even an ordinary piece of wood is beautiful.
