COMMENTS: Exceptional parcel of very fine topaz gemstones that would be excellent for re-sell or mounting in jewelry. A little over half of these gemstones are individually packaged so you know what you have in reference to carat weight, size, and shape. The rest are packaged together in one baggy.
Here is a large exceptional quality parcel of very fine cut topaz where the gem rough was mined from the renowned Lomoeiro and Capao mines in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The Lomoeiro mine is renowned for producing its natural sky blue as the Capao mine is renowned for its production of Imperial Topaz. This parcel of fine topaz consist of sky blue, swiss blue, london blue, green, mystic green, imperial, and colorless. There is a total of 184 gemstones ranging from 3mm up to 16mm. There are 72 stones 7mm and up and 112 stones 3mm up to 6mm, but on average, at least 70% or better are over 7mm. There are various shapes consisting of baguette, pear-shape, oval, round, heart-shape, rectangular, emerald, trillion, princess, and cushion. All of the above shapes are either mixed, step, scissor, checkered, semi-brilliant, and brilliant cut. These are very clean gemstones, with only about ten that are SI1 to VS2, and the rest are eye clean (VS1) or near flawless (VVS1). I do not grade colored gemstones Flawless or Internal Flawless (F or IF).
The largest stone is a beautiful swiss blue that is just over 21 carats, with at least 10 to 15 of them over 4 carats. The big swiss blue would easily wholesale for $150 alone with the london blue brilliant would fetch pretty close to that as well. My asking price will be hard to beat (just under $4/ct), especially for the exceptional quality of these stones. Most parcels or lots like these are poor quality scooped stones where you may be lucky enough to get a few good quality stones. All of these would be exceptional re-sale stones that would pay for themselves twice over, or for a jeweler to mount in some beautiful jewelry pieces. Well worth the money by far!
