Classified Details

The boots will welcome house wrens & other smaller birds to an exciting new place to build a nest. (Yes, we’ve actually had birds live in the ones at our house!)

The boot has been secured to recycled lumber from a demolished barn, and a roof has been constructed from either recycled cedar shake shingles or metal. Each bird house is ready for hanging.

Once the young have hatched, cleaning out the bird house is simple—just loosen the boot’s laces, turn upside down, & gently shake to remove the nesting materials. Once the boot is laced back up, it will be ready for the next nesting season.
