 | Antique Advertising - Thermometers & Lithographs !!! Beautiful Cottage Prints and Thermometers !!! 5 Items to Choose From, each is just $18 -- with the exception of Item #4 - which is just $8.00 !
Item #1 -- Nobles Drug Store: Lovely, Framed Lithos - on the Left a Cottage Home nestled in the tall Pines, and on the right a Sunset from a Rocky Ledge over the lake. There's a Working Thermometer in the center and underneath in a Banner it says "Nobles Drug Store Prescriptions Our Speciality" Night Phone 3381 Day Phone 4241 Marks - Mississippi.. Original, Gold Metal Frame with Glass & small eye-hook on top for hanging; includes attached, Complete & Original, 1947, Paper Calendar on back (some months have tears at bottom). Measures 8 1/8" x 4 1/8".
Item #2: -- Randolph Grocery Co. -- SOLD
Item #3: -- Scott's Service: A Beautiful, Mountain Scene with a Rustic Log Cabin on a River is centered with a Banner that says "Scott's Service General Merchandise Phone Elderton 2618 Rt. 210 R.D. 1 Shelocta, PA."; and framed with a Twisted, Bright Gold Rope that also sprouts Grasses to each side -- on the right under a Lady sitting with a Horse and on the left to a Sign Post from which hangs a Thermometer (not working). Original, Gold, Metal Frame with Glass, includes the attached, Complete & Original, 1951, Paper Calendar on back (January slightly torn); with a hanger on back as part of the Paperboard backing. Measures 8 1/2" x 4 1/4".
Item #4: -- $8.00 -- Herald Square Liquor: Beautiful Ocean Scene with a Cottage House surrounded by Flowers, & on the road, a Man with a Horse & Cart. On the Beige, Paper Mat, says "Herald Square Liquor Store Phone Wisconsin 7-9494-9495 We Deliver, Imported and Domestic Wines - Liquors - Cordials 35 West 35th Street New York, I, NY Lic. No. L219". Solid, Oak Wood Frame with Glass (some slight staining on Paper Mat), has a Finished, Papered back & Silver Metal Hanger, includes attached, Original, 1950, Paper Calendar (missing January). Measures 8 3/4" x 6 3/4".
Item #5: -- Walter S. Greenawalt: Thatched roof, English Cottage engulfed in Colorful Flowers. Children are playing in the yard, Ducks in a Pond. Inset, Working Thermometer. Two-tone Mat with Banner at the bottom, says "Compliments of Walter S. Greenawalt". Original, Decorative, Black & Gold Metal Frame with Glass. Measures 8 1/8" x 10 1/8". Finished back with Designed Paperboard & String Hanger.
