As a Meat Cutter, you will:

Prepare meat and keep the department clean and up to sanitization
Promoting and sustaining an Always Customer First philosophy within the department
Learning and sharing product knowledge with team members and customers
Sharing your passion for great food with your fellow team members and the customers we serve
Cleaning equipment and work areas to maintain health and sanitation standards

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

Cooking Experience (personal cooking or BBQ that you can share with your customers)
A passion for great food and outstanding customer service
The ability to occasionally lift 50lbs
A strong work ethic and a “let’s get it done” attitude and strong attention to detail
A sense of humour and a fun attitude at work
The desire to work in a fast-paced environment

The following would be highly desirable:

Meat cutting knowledge gained through completion of Trade or College programs such as Retail Meat Specialist, Meat Cutter Apprenticeship, or other meat cutting programs is an asset
Experience working in a retail meat cutting role is an asset
Food Safety certification
