This Honda Pilot is just like new! It is in excellent condition. It was a corporate lease prior to my purchasing it in May of 2017. I love the way it drives and it is very comfortable. It has most all of the bells and whistles...pretty loaded in other words. I got running boards, Honda rubber mats for front and back. I also just purchased a non-slip liner for the back. So, I am asking just a tad more for those items, as they were just installed a week or so ago. It has Michelin tires and a tow package as well. It is hidden under the plastic cover. The back hatch closes automatically with the touch of a button.
I have only driven it a few thousand miles. I have not had my first oil change due to mileage, but need to due to time. It has been garaged the entire time. I purchased the bumper to bumper extended warranty, which should transfer to the new owner.
Why am I selling it? I want a 4 X 4 that is manual and not automatic.
I want to be able to put into 4-wheel drive when I want and not when the vehicle thinks it should be. I purchased at Honda of Lee's Summit, MO at the end of May. I asked them if it was manual and was told yes, it was. Well, you can lock it into 4-wheel drive, however, you cannot go over 18 mph. It is for getting out of a hole etc...
So, you can imagine my surprise when I drove it in the snow during the last several weeks. It does okay and does kick into 4-wheel drive, but that is not what I want and not what I thought I was purchasing.
He showed me the button and how it locked into 4-wheel drive, but failed to mention it could not go over 18 mph and was not the true manual 4-wheel drive. So therefore, I am selling it. It's a beautiful car and as I mentioned...drives great...it's just not what I want.
