Peanut is a male approx 8 1/2 years old in good health and weighs about 13-14 pounds. Peanut's vet said that he is a pom/min-pin mix and he is copper in color. He is calm and content but will let you know when someone is near your front door. He is house trained and in the year and a half we have had him as a part of our family he has never messed on our carpet though he had one small happy piddle leak when he got very excited. We love him very much but need to find him a new home. He likes most other dogs but he would not do well in a home with cats or birds. When he was a puppy he was hit by a car and lost one of his front legs the other front leg was fused into a position as if he was laying down. He CAN still walk around the house and even jump onto things like a couch or bed with ease. Peanut has never lived in a home with stairs so if yours has any leading up to it he may need to be carried up/down them. He has been around children and dose not mind them petting him but dose not liked to be carried around by small children. He loves car rides and if you have a stroller and he sees it Peanut will jump in and beg for you to take him outside for a walk. He can walk on a leash outside for short distances but not very fast. Below is a list of things that we would like to send with Peanut when he goes to his new home for free...

~A blanket that he loves and has claimed for his own.
~Some of his favorite food both wet and dry.
~A dog coat for the winter when it is cold. (Vet recommended this plus he looks quite cute in it.)
~Some of his favorite dog treats.
~His collar and retractable leash.

If you would like the stroller we use when we take him on long walks we are willing to sell it to you for $10. Everything else including Peanut is free we just want to make sure he moves into a kind, loving and gentle home where he will be loved and well cared for. We are and will be more then happy to do what we need to in order for Peanuts vet records to be forwarded to the vet of your choice.
