Mesquite slab for making a table top

This is a beautiful piece of a large Texas mesquite tree. Its dimensions are 26"x26"x3.5", weighing about 38 pounds. This is a spalted mesquite crotch (the point along a tree trunk
where a branch splits off). As shown in the photos, it includes large heart cracks and other character marks. It would make an attractive and unusual table-top.

Price for this slab is $80.

The slab is in Houston at the moment, but it's easy and pretty inexpensive to ship. You can see more photos of this mesquite and some other "exotic" woods by doing a google search for "Texas Woodcrafts" and taking the first link.
