We have a 1986 VW GTI for sale Our neighbor couldn't take with him when he moved out of state so he sold it to us. My husband was supposed to fix it but of course he hasn't gotten around to it yet (a year later)
It's a really cool little car and I hate to just have it sitting out there with nobody using it so I think it's time to find it a new home. It's the Wolfsburg edition
The VIN check I ran listed this:

It's not currently running so it will most likely need to be towed.
- Our neighbor told us when he sold it to us that it just needed a new battery
- It also will need new tires (They are really flat from sitting so long)
- The fuel tank will most likely need to be drained before it will run

NADA lists low retail as $1600
since we don't know much about the car from personal experience
we are asking $800 for it as is.

Also we are willing to split into a couple of payments if needed
($500 to take the car and we'll sign over the title when we get the rest)
