* Microprocessor-controlled thermo-electric cooling
* Designed specifically for high speed processors
* Maintains CPU temperature at 26°C for normal application and during idle.
* Significantly reduces fan noise
* Installs in minutes
* Power is independent from power supply unit
What is Thermoelectric Cooling?
TEC, which stands for "Thermo Electric Cooling", is based on the Peltier Effect first discovered in the early 19th century.
DC current passes through the thermo-electric device causing heat to be absorbed at one side and releasing to the opposite side during operation.
Spotlights
A new revolutionary step in CPU cooling system controlled by microprocessor.
While traditional cooling methods run fans at top speed continuously, thus increasing the noise level. SubZero4G dynamically reduces CPU fan speed and noise level by maintaining CPU temperature at 26°C for typical operation and during idle.
In addition, the embedded microprocessor controls the case fan speeds via signal algorithms according to the system temperature.
Thermal resistance = 0.17 °C/W at 75W
This is flat-out the best out of the box cooling system that you can get for your Socket A processor (barring water cooling). It always kept my Athlon XP 3200+ running very cool, even when under high load. Originally, this unit sold for $149.99. It is in top condition, and includes the PCI power supply, heat sink with thermoelectric cooler, and all power cords.
This item is used but in mint condition. Works like stated above. | | Thermaltake SubZero4G specs | |
