Classified Details

Rain Tree or Suar Wood is native to South America and was introduced to SE Asia several hundred years ago. It has crisscrossed, interlocking grains that can be finished to a high gloss. It is also a hearty wood that resists cracking even in the driest of climates. It will typically boast several different shades of brown due to the wide variation of colours that can typically be found between the inner and outer parts of the trunk.

The tables in these photos are actually unfinished. Imagine the beauty once they are lightly stained and sealed. The wood grains come alive.

2 inch thick top tables are approximately 80 inches long x 36 inches wide x 34 inches tall and are $799.
