 | Mesquite Turning Blanks for Wooden Goblets
2-1/2 lbs.
$20 for a set of 2 blanks
This is a set of two very nice Mesquite, end-grain blocks suitable for a pair of matching goblets similar to the one shown in the top photo (Note - the goblet is not included with these blocks). At about 2-1/2" square and 5-1/2", they would also be good for small boxes, bottle stoppers or the like.
Both blanks include the beautiful red/honey brown of mesquite heartwood and the creamy yellow of Mesquite sapwood, and the color is rich and the grain is strong. One block has a small area of bark on one edge which would turned off when roughing out a goblet or box.
