For sale by piano tuner is a 1918 Knabe Grand Piano. Six feet, two inches long, this is the "Gold Medal" edition of the piano that has been the offical piano of the New York Metropolitan Opera for over 100 years.
New pinblock, new tuning pins, new strings and felts, newly regilded plate. Remarkable tone across all registers. Original finish in very good shape. Still needs new action to qualify as fully restored, but is very useable as is.
