Artist Howland Parker was the great, great, great, great nephew of Netty Green, The Witch of Wall Street as well as a direct decendent of THE HOWLAND AND PARKER PILGRAM FAMILIES, SOME OF WHOM CAME TO AMERICA ON THE MAYFLOWER. THEY FORMED THE HOWLAND SHIPPING COMPANY AND WERE A PROPEROUS BUNCH.
HOWLAND PARKER was the last of his family line. He was a gifted artist and visionary who produced marvelous art work using varied media. SOme works may be found in museums as well as in one of the 2 Howland family museum in Massachusettes.
