Classified Details

Leo Braico was born on the island of Capri in Italy (circa 1928). He came to the US on a scholarship and chose Carmel Art Institute for 4 years of study under Patricia & John Cunningham. He became a member of the Carmel Art Association and was amongst the top 10 sellers there throughout the 50's and 60's. He passed away in 1974. His work remains in important collections internationally. I have a painting done by him in the original frame from 1962. It is called "Capri Borgo Marinaro" and is 100 x 80. Very exquisite and rare seascape of the island of Capri.
