Wind Swept on Stones Wire Tree Sculpture
14"H x 15"W x 13"D Created by combining 3 different types of wire. The base structure is 24 gauge steel galvanized steel wire, and the outer layers are 26 gauge brass and 26 gauge gold color wire. The two different outer layers give the surface of the tree sculpture a subtle gold color variation. The tree is "planted" onto a mound of small glossy rocks and pebbles. All is bonded onto an 8 inch round solid clear glass base. The sea sand, and some of the smaller pebbles, are painted yellow, green and white using India ink and giving the effect of moss covered earth.
