Abalone
Also known as Ear Shell, is found in warm tropical waters off the coasts of California, South America, Japan, and China. This shell is commonly used for decorative purposes in jewelry.
Some American Indians use the shell to hold spirit offerings such as tobacco and blue corn. It also makes a great holder for burning sage, sweet grass, and cedar. Abalone may be helpful to build and protect the heart muscle as well as aid the digestion. They are especially useful to counterbalance overly dynamic energies due to their watery nature.
