I believe the majority of these pin ups are Norma Jean Dougherty (Marilyn Monroe). By famous Pin-Up artist EARL MORAN. Gorgeous gold frame measures approx. 28 in. across X 14 1/4 in. tall. 5- 3 month wall pin-up calendars cards advertising Randolph Cutting Die St. Louis. Individual Pin Up Calendar cards measure approx. 10 in. long X 4 3/4 in. across. Original Pin holes perfectly intact. No folds. Some nics and scratches in gold finished frame.

James Dougherty was the 1st of Monroe's 3 husbands.
Over the decades, he was repeatedly asked by reporters & biographers about his 4 year marriage to the legendary star...... "I never knew Marilyn Monroe, and I don't claim to have any insights to her to this day," he told United Press International in 1990. "I knew and loved Norma Jean."
James Dougherty a former Van Nuys High School football captain & class president, was 20 & working the night shift at Lockheed Aircraft when he began dating his 15-year-old neighbor Norma Jean Baker in January. Soon after in 1942, James was 21 years old & married 16 year old Norma Jean Baker. He joined the Merchant Marines, was sent to the South Pacific in 1944, returned to Los Angeles in 1946. Soon after he & Baker divorced.
Norma Jean Baker posed for Earl Moran in the 1940's & the two became friends. She always credited him with making her legs look better than they were as she felt they were too thin. Moran's work during this time period is now his most valuable
