 | It is with great regret that I have to let Sherman go, but do to my illness and having to cut down, I am considering it,But,Only to a good,loving Show Home that will make this big boy a part of their family.
He is the last grandson of the irreplaceable Sir Ashton Jake(a true 36"tall deep Apct.Stud)that was a one of a kind. He never got the chance to be put into the show-ring, due to the abuse he suffered before coming into my family but over time and with plenty of love he overcame and went on to produce some of the most fantastic and solid puppies I've ever seen. Kordsmeiers General Sherman is one of those offspring(a grandson) and if he does find that perfect home, I don't want to lose contact with him. He's also one of the last son's of CH. sired Castle Creek Double Shot(a own son of CH.Lazy D Groppetti Six Pk To Go). A.J.'s pedigree is over 1/2 Imported CH.'s and the rest American CH.'s., while Double Shot's is from the legendary CH.Semper Fi Groppetti Gargoyle. Sherman has Perfect Pigmentation,Excellent bone,mass,top-line,tail-set and the personality to match it. He's going to be a very,very large,typey male when grown and is showing all the signs of a CH. in waiting.
I have spent the past few years doing nothing except, study the genetics and bloodlines all to enhance and bring back the Mastiffs of Old..Dogs that could stand the test of time and not cripple up as youngsters. Dogs that could actually do what they were originally bred to do, without fear of them breaking down(so to speak) or falling apart. Sherman is just one of the results of that study and planned breeding's and he is a fantastic boy.
If you are serious about showing and breeding to improve the Mastiff gene pool, I'd love to speak with you as I really believe he will be one to contend with. The genetics are in place and he has everything needed to produce the old Mastiffs when crossed with females that have been bred the same way and by the same high standards or to greatly improve a female lacking in different areas.
