I am selling beef directly from our small family farm by the half, 1/4, or 1/8. These animals are well taken care of and fed a mixture of alfalfa, grass,and some corn. We raise them from calf to time of butcher, which is usually 20 months, which is the time you want to buy your beef for flavor. We take our animals to meats in for butchering and processing. The price is 2.55/ lb hanging weight plus processing fees from the butcher which are usually around $.70/lb. A quarter of meat is usually around 200lbs. Let me know if you have any questions.
