Okay so here's the thing. In 2007 I purchased a 2006 Chevy Malibu from Enterprise Rent a Car. In April 2017 I was having an issue with it and a friend believed the problem was a compression ring and took it to his shop. Shortly afterward he ended up closing the shop and towed my car to my house with the engine head in the back seat and the engine under the hood but in pieces in a box. The body and paint are in excellent condition. Also at the beginning of this year Merle Stone Chevrolet repaired 3 separate recalls involving the automatic power steering, a brake lamp and transmission cable fracture. I have all that paperwork. Also the windshield is damaged due to parking near the golf course. My husband is on SSI and we can't afford to take it to a shop. The Kelley Blue Book's worst condition value is $3,006.00. I listed the price as $2,000 only because I had to put something but I quite honestly have no idea how much to ask considering the condition under the hood so I'm hoping someone will make me a fair offer.
